Word 20: The one who did not utilize the understanding of Prophet Muhammad’s revelation (Quran), who sold oneself cheap

The great mystic, Ibn Al-Arabi in his book “Tajaliat Illahieh” (God’s manifestations) said, “In one manifestation, Prophet Muhammad’s truth will be present for you, and you intuit Prophet Muhammad (S) talking with God. At this moment, be polite and listen carefully to this conversation until you also get the blessing from it and gain the best knowledge. God’s conversation with Prophet Muhammad (S) is not like your conversation because spiritually Prophet Muhammad (S) is fully capable to receive full blessing from God compared to you. He sees everything in everything. He is capable to listen to God’s words. This level is “Lordship level”. This level has different levels in itself. Whatever is seen there cannot be told. When this manifestation for you has gone then you will start to recognize yourself”.

“Indeed, We sent the Qur’an down during the Night of Destiny. (1) And what can make you know what is the Night of Destiny? (2) The Night of Destiny is better than a thousand months. (3) The angels and the Spirit are descending therein by permission of their Lord for every command. (4) Peace it is until the emergence of dawn” (Surah Al-Qadr)

Surah Al-Qadr is the surah of Wilayat. The very important point in this surah is that angels and the “Spirit” will be descended continuously in the “Night of Destiny”. The verb “descend” is a present verb, meaning angels and the “Spirit” are always descending in the “Night of Destiny”. Another point is where are they descending to? There needs to be a place for this. These descends will happen in the Imam of Time’s Heart level (spiritual level of Imam). At the time of Prophet Muhammad (S), the place of descending was Prophet Muhammad’s (S) heart and at the moment, angels and the “Spirit” are descending to the spiritual heart level of Imam Mahdi (AJ).

In reality, the spiritual heart level of the Imam of time will be united with the truth of the Holy Quran. A tradition said, “Debate with our enemies based on this surah for providing our succession”. In another tradition, the inner of Lady Fatimah Zahra (AS) is interpreted as the “Night of Destiny”. Lady Fatimah Zahra (AS) said, “O God, Thanks for your mercy that I fully understand the Holy Quran”. This indicated her inner and spiritual level.

Allameh Hassan Zadeh said, “When we think of someone, his/her “I” will be spiritually united with our “I”, meaning you will be connected spiritually together. For example, when you hang out with a person you will start to act like that person (it depends on how much time you spend with them). So, when you read the Holy Quran which is Gods’ word, or think about the 14 Ma’sumin, spiritually you will be united with the truth of the Holy Quran and 14 Ma’sumin. That is the reason why talking about Amir Al-Mu’minin Ali (A) is worship.

Ibn Al-Arabi in his book “Tajaliat Illahieh” (God’s manifestations) at the fifth manifestation said, “In this manifestation, the truth of Prophet Muhammad (S) will be manifested for you. It is important to note that manifestations that come for a mystic, in reality, are coming from his master, meaning the blessings are coming from his master channel.

Naraqi in his book “Treasures” said, “Students of Plato were three types:

1- Mashaeeyun: The students who participated in the classes and learned knowledge.

2- Rawaqeeyun: The smart students who participated in the classes and received deep knowledge even from a word or sentence from their master.

Many years ago, while I was a young student of Allameh Hassanzadeh Amoli I heard something strange in his house. Someone asked Allameh Hassan Zadeh if there are anyone in his house and Allameh replied, “There is no one in the house except me”. I was thinking why Allameh said this sentence while a few students were already in the house. He should have said, there are just me and some students in the house. Later, I found that this is a level of intuition for a mystic when he or she does not see anyone except God. Another similar thing happened when I found that “Infallibility is the inner of prophecy and guardianship”.

3- Ishraqeeyun: The students who were receiving the deep knowledge from the spiritual inner of Plato because their inner was pure and clean. Meaning whatever knowledge their master receives they will be receiving as well.

Ibn Al-Arabi said, “The knowledge and secrets of numbers and letters can be achieved in the understanding of Prophet Muhammad’s (S) revelation (Quran)”.

For example, if you are married and can’t have children recite this verse, “And said, ‘Ask forgiveness of your Lord. Indeed, He is ever a Perpetual Forgiver. (10) He will send [rain from] the sky upon you in [continuing] showers (11) And give you increase in wealth and children and provide for you gardens and provide for you rivers (12)” (Nuh:10-12). Meaning we should ask for forgiveness (Istiqfar).

Another example for the light of sight we should find the answer here, “And shake toward you the trunk of the palm tree; it will drop upon you ripe, fresh dates. (25) So eat and drink and be contented. And if you see from among humanity anyone, say, ‘Indeed, I have vowed to the Most Merciful abstention, so I will not speak today to [any] man.’ ” (26)” (Maryam:25-26). So, it is recommended to eat date and water after pregnancy.

Ibn Abbas (Quran Interpreter) said, “If you lost your donkey, you will be able to find it if you fully understand the Holy Quran”.

Whatever a mystic receives in his/her intuition, it must be in the Holy Quran because the highest level of spirituality belongs to Prophet Muhammad (S), so he has received the highest level of revelation which is the Holy Quran.
