Word 32: The one who thinks deeply understands that the Quran is the written form of the perfect human and the universe is the existence form of the perfect human.

The perfect human is not the one who walks on two feet. The perfect human is not the animal (human-like) who speaks. A human is one identity that has three different levels of existence. Material existence, Methal existence, and Intellect existence. Each level needs its own food. Allameh Hassanzadeh said, “Anyone who wants to recruit a gardener for his garden, search for the knowledgeable and powerful person to make sure he will take care of his garden in perfect shape. Why do some people select an ignorant as their master and guide? Humans need a completed coach who has passed the journey before”.  We should not give our plant of existence to any ignorant gardener. We should give our plant of existence to a perfect human who gardens and takes care of it until it reaches its goal, products, or fruits.

Humanity is not based on body and clothes, don’t you see a knower is different than ignorant, evil people are different than prophets and righteous. A human has the potential to be the manifestation of all of God’s Names and Attributes. Some people asked Amir Al-Mu’minin Ali (A), “Tell us about the secrets of yourself”. Imam replied, “You do not have the capability and capacity to know the secrets and you cannot tolerate it because it needs a vast heart. They forced him to tell the secrets! Imam said, “OK, now that you insist, I say, I am the first, I am the last, I am the outer, I am the inner, I have knowledge of all things, I am the one who makes things alive and dead”. “He gives life and causes death, and He has power over all things. He is the First and the Last, and the Outer and the Inner, and He has knowledge of all things” (Al-Hadid:2-3). People were surprised because they saw Imam credit God’s attributes to himself and said, “Ali became infidel”. They did not know how high a human can reach to be the manifestation all of God’s Name. They wanted to leave the mosque, Imam said, “O door, don’t open”. No matter how hard they tried, the door would not open. Imam said, “I said that you will not be able to tolerate it, now sit down that I interpret what I said. When I said, I am the First it means I was the first person to believe in Prophet Muhammad (S), I am the Last means I was the last person who took out Prophet Muhammad’s (S) shirt after death, I am inner and outer and I know everything means I know the inner and outer of the Holy Quran and because Quran is the explanation of all things. “We have revealed to you the Book, as an explanation of all things” (An-Nahl:89). I am the one who gives life and causes death, which means, I revive the traditions and kill the deviations.

It is important to know that the written form of the perfect human is the Holy Quran. A narration said, “The Prophet Muhammad’s (S) behavior and manner perfectly matched the Quran”. “That is verily an Honorable Quran (77) In a very well-preserved book (78) None can touch it except the purified” (Al-Wa’qia:77-79). As none can touch the truth of the Quran, none can touch the inner truth of Prophet Muhammad (S) except the purified. The outer of a perfect human is like others, he eats, drink, and sleeps but how about his inner? “Say, indeed, I am only a “Bashar” (a material human)  like you but it is revealed to me” (Al-Kahf:110). What is the revelation? (This is a key point). If we ask some Muslims what the revelation is, most of them would say, Angel Gabriel (A) come to the prophet and said something in his hear that no one can hear. Because people used to think materially, they would like to confine all things to material objects. “Nor does he speak out of desire. (3) It is but a revelation revealed” (An-Najm:2-3). In one interpretation, revelation is the connection of a human to the immaterial world. Prophet’s outer is like other people not his inner. Unfortunately, some of the companions of Prophet Muhammad (S) did not understand this and said to the prophet, “O Prophet, this sentence that you said, is it from you or is it from God!”, Prophet replied, “I am saying that and God said it”. Meaning he is not like under people to say things because of their desires, he was the tongue of God among people. There was absolutely not any trace of selfishness in the prophet. A Persian poem says, “listen to the straw flute when it speaks, it narrates from separations, …”.  Flute’s inside is empty but the breath of the blower is inside. The flute is free from selfishness. Another poem says, “All sentences are from the king although it is from the throat of God’s servant”. Once prophet Muhammad (S) passed by a captive after a victory and smiled. The captive said of course you should smile because of happiness to putting us in captivity. Prophet said, “I smiled because I was thinking to guide you towards heaven, I have to make you captive”. People think a prophet is like them and acts based on his desire. In the battle of Siffin between Amir Al-Mu’minin Ali (A) and Muawiya, When Muawiya’s army felt that they lost the battle, they placed many Qurans above their spears and said lets the Quran judge between us. Amir Al-Mu’minin said, “attack them, I am the truth of Quran, I am the speaking Quran, Quran does not talk, I am the first Muslim and first believer, I am the successor of Prophet Muhammad (S), don’t I understand more than you that those are Quran?” but most of his army said, no we will not attack them because they have Quran (please refer to the battle of Siffin for detailed info and its consequences). The perfect human is united with Quran (one truth with two different forms). Based on a very well-known narrative narrated by many Sunni and Shia scholars (Hadith al-Thaqalayn), the Messenger of Allah (s) said: “Verily, I am leaving behind two precious things (Thaqalayn) among you: the Book of God and my kindred (`itrah), my household (Ahl al-Bayt), for indeed, the two will never separate until they come back to me by the Pond (of al-Kawthar on the Day of Judgment)”.

We understand that Quran is the written form of the perfect human as Allameh Hassan Zadeh said, meaning if we want to write Amir Al-Mu’minin Ali (A) it would be Quran. Similarly, if we want to convert the Holy Quran to a human it would be like Prophet Muhammad (S), and infallible Imams. The Holy Quran needs an interpreter that knows it otherwise see what happening around the world when people do not use Quran with Imam. As an example, Ashaireh (a group of Sunni scholars and followers) do not believe in the justice of God Almighty and they prove it wrongly based on Quran interpretation but God’s Justice is one of the main 5 principals in Shia Islam besides Tawhid (monotheism), Day of Judgement, Prophecy, and Imamat.

People kept asking a friend of mine why he doesn’t preach? He replied, “Quran is my reference, if I can become like it or close enough to it then I will go for preaching. Quran describes believers as: “Those who are humble in their prayers”, “Those who avoid nonsense”, “Those who work for charity”, “Those who safeguard their chastity. Except for their spouses or their dependents”, “Those who are faithful to their trusts and pledges”, “Those who safeguard their prayers”, “The servants of the Merciful are those who walk the earth in humility, and when the ignorant address them, they say, Peace”, “And those who pass the night prostrating themselves to their Lord and standing up. (64) And those who say, ‘‘Our Lord, avert from us the suffering of Hell, for its suffering is continuous”, “And those who, when they spend, are neither wasteful nor stingy, but choose a middle course between that”, “And those who do not bear false witness; and when they come across indecencies, they pass by with dignity”. “And those who, when reminded of the revelations of their Lord, do not fall before them deaf and blind”, “And those who say, “Our Lord, grant us delight in our spouses and our children, and make us a good example for the righteous” and many more. On the Day of Judgement, we will be compared to the Holy Quran to see how comparable we are.
