It is one of the most famous prayers (Dua); Allama Majlisi (may God have mercy on him) has said, “This prayer is one of the best prayers (supplication) and it is the prayer of Prophet Khidr (PBUH).
Amir Al-Mu’minin Ali (A) taught it to Kumail, who was one of the closer companions; he has also said, “It is recited on the nights of mid-Shaban and every Friday night, and it is useful for preventing the harassment of the enemies and opening the doors of sustenance and the forgiveness of sins.
Shaykh al-Tusi and Sayyid Ibn Tawus have mentioned it in their prayer books, and I narrate the text of this heavenly treasure from “Mesbah al-Muttahid”.
