Islam in Bible
Genesis – Chapter 12- 1:3
“1 The Lord had said to Abraham, “Go from your country, your people, and your father’s household to the land I will show you.
2 I will make you into a great nation, and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing.
3 I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse, and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you.”
Based on this phrase, people on earth will be blessed and guided through Prophet Abraham (A) or his descendants! Meaning there will be a divine religion in which all human beings will be guided. Also in this religion, Prophet Abraham (A) has a high position such that if anyone curses Prophet Abraham (A), God curses him. This promised religion, for various reasons, cannot be Judaism.
Because:
1- Jewish religion is not a universal religion.
2. According to Deuteronomy, Chapter 33 – 1:2, Prophet Moses (A) himself stated that a greater religion will come after the Torah.
Deuteronomy, Chapter 33 – 1:2
“1- And this is the blessing, wherewith Moses the man of God blessed the children of Israel before his death.
2- And he said, Jehovah came from Sinai, and rose from Seir unto them; He shined forth from mount P’aran, and he came from the ten thousands of holy ones: At his right hand was a fiery law for them.”
This promised religion is not Christianity either! Because in the Gospel of Matthew (Chapter 15 – 21:28), He considers Prophet Jesus (A) to be unique to the children of Israel and even Insults to others!
Matthew, Chapter 15 – 21:28
“21 From there, Jesus went to the regions of Tyre and Sidon.
22 A Canaanite woman from those territories came out and shouted, “Show me mercy, Son of David. My daughter is suffering terribly from demon-possession.”
23 But he didn’t respond to her at all. His disciples came and urged him, “Send her away; she keeps shouting out after us.”
24 Jesus replied, “I’ve been sent only to the lost sheep, the people of Israel.”
25 But she knelt before him and said, “Lord, help me.”
26 He replied, “It is not good to take the children’s bread and toss it to dogs.”
27 She said, “Yes, Lord. But even the dogs eat the crumbs that fall off their masters’ table.”
28 Jesus answered, “Woman, you have great faith. It will be just as you wish.” And right then her daughter was healed”.
If someone says that Matthew’s Gospel is basically textual and It’s not inspiring. We accept that! But in this case, the principles of Christianity are falling apart. So, Christians must seek the blessed religion that God promised in the Bible which guides all people and removes the distortions that happened to the religion of Prophet Jesus (A). (Refer to Surah Lady Mary in the Holy Quran and see how respectful Muslims to Lady Mary (A) are).
Conclusion: The only religion in which Prophet Abraham (A) has a very high position in it and contains the universal law is Islam.
