Why Lady Fatimah (A) Was Crying So Much Before Martyrdom

According to some narrations, Lady Fatimah (A) cried so much after the death of Prophet Muhammad (S) that the people of Medina complained about her cries and told Amir al-Mu’minin Ali (A) to tell Fatimah to either cry at night or during the day.

This means that lady Fatimah’s crying is a mystery because her house was next to the mosque of the Messenger of God (S) which had become the center of the caliphs of the time, and the weeping had become a source of concern for the caliphs. They were afraid that the cries of the lady Fatimah would provoke the companions of Prophet Muhammad (S) and shake the foundations of their government. Since all the people of Medina knew that lady Fatimah Zahra (A) was incompatible with the caliphs and did not legitimize their caliphate. Even when Amir al-Mu’minin Ali (A) built a canopy outside Medina for her place of weeping, they destroyed that canopy.

So that lady Fatimah’s cries do not disturb them. Right now, some people do not like Shia’s crying over the oppression of the “Ahl al-Bayt” and forbid holding mourning ceremonies because they know that crying over the suffering of the “Ahl al-Bayt” is a cold and soft war by which the Shias call their alive Imam Mahdi (AJ) and demand justice from God.
