Time

Allameh Hassanzadeh Amuli in his book “Human and Quran” explained the Time meaning in detail.

In the definition of time, we would say: “Time is the amount of motion of matter”

Time is repetition of moments, the moments themselves are re-creation of matters.

If we imagine time as a running floor which has not stability for a moment. If one object wants to have an identity within this floor, a new existence needs to be given to it moment by moment to be stable in this floor. It is a water stream that moves rapidly, water must flow through it, and if water does not flow for a moment, the water stream will not be exist or it is like light of a lamp must be radiated moment by moment, otherwise that light will not be exist.

This is the property of Time which any objects that wants to be stable within that need to be given existence all moments.

So, pay attention to verse of Quran “And by the sea kept filled” (و البحر المسجور) and see how this sea of ​​creation, which is interpreted as the truth of space-time in physics, is constantly moving and flowing, and see how every creature that is created moment by moment is glorifying and praising its Lord despite its existence. The seen/unseen Universe  are all alive, remembrance and presence.

Glorify the Lord who is the Ever-Living, the Self-Subsistent who sustain and protect All Beings.
